Perfect for warmer climates where freezing conditions are not a problem, SunMaxx offers our SunMaxx TS ThermoSyphon Systems. These kits include specialized SunMaxx 20 Evacuated Tube Solar Collectors, and a specially engineered 40 Gallon Storage Tank that mounts directly to the top of the solar collector, acting as both a storage tank, and a heater manifold.
Since both components of this system, including the storage, are exterior, it is imperative that you be in a non-freeze climate. The low cost of ThermoSyphon Systems make them ideal for large residential, commercial, municipal, and industrial applications using an open loop (non-glycol) system.
The 40 Gallon System provides enough hot water capacity to supply a family of 2 or 3 people, and requires only 40ft of south facing roof space.
